Self-care for foster & adoptive parents is needed year-round, but during the holidays it is particularly important to create space to care for ourselves.

Amy Bailey, LMSW is a child welfare program director for Arbor Circle, based in Michigan. She is a licensed master’s level social worker and private practice clinician. Additionally, Amy is a foster parent and has worked in the child welfare field for over 20 years.
