Circus of the Heart FAQs
Is the event free to attend? Yes! Admission is FREE! Your free admission will include two complimentary food truck tickets.
Is parking available?  Free parking is available. See map above for directions.
There will be food trucks – do I need to bring money? Each person will receive two tickets for two food items.  Additional items will be available for purchase.
How long will the food trucks be at the event? The event is 1 PM – 4 PM. Food trucks will be open from 12:30 PM until 4:00 PM
What kind of prizes could I win? What would a circus be without prizes? Attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes by participating in carnival games. There will also be prize drawings! Prize drawings will include two categories: teens and families. Prizes may include gift cards, baskets, vouchers, tickets, merchandise, and more! If your prize ticket is drawn, you will be able to select your prize from the prize table. Must be present to win.
Can I request a poster from previous years?  Yes. Posters from previous years will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What activities are available for teens at the in-person event? Calling all teenagers! There will be a dedicated teen room filled with crafts, a henna tattoo artist, games, and more!
Do I need to register in advance? Are walk-ins welcome? Come one, come all! While registration is strongly encouraged, we will have same day registration available at the in-person event. Registration for the Virtual Engagement Activities is required.
Is there a Virtual Circus Event this year? No, it has been replaced with four super fun Virtual Engagement Activities during the week leading up to COH.
Can I register and participate in both In-Person and Virtual Engagement Activities? Yes. We encourage you to walk the tightrope and juggle both!
What are Virtual Engagement Activities? To help set the stage and build excitement for Circus of the Heart, there will be four Virtual Engagement Activities. Starting November 2, there will be a FAM Website Scavenger Hunt and Trivia, “Take 5” Code Word Challenge, Family Art Project, and a Recipe Contest. If you register for Virtual Engagement Activities, details will be sent via email. We hope you’ll join us for both the Virtual Engagement Activities and the main event!
Will there be prizes for Virtual Engagement Activities? Yes! We have an array of gift cards for Virtual Engagement Activities. Registrants will be entered into drawings after submissions for each activity. Prizes will be emailed during the week of November 9.
How can I make a change to my registration? We can use our magic wand and update your registration when you email it@fosteradoptmn.org with your updated information.
